I dunno Mal, like anything in these litigous days the cars out of the box
will understeer, but the 4WD car will understeer more generally than RWD.

Like any modern car, dump it to the weeds put decent tyres on it tweak the
front up you can make it handle, I would say a good RWD car should always
out-handle a 4WD, but you just won't be able to get the power down out of
the corners.

More likely they knew they had a limit with the width of the tyres to put on
it and the GrpA Ford Sierra turbo proved that with a 400hp+ motor you can't
put enough tyres under it, so the answer was 4WD.

R32 converted to 2WD ???

They are all 2WD RWD....

With the R32 GTR if you rev it up drop the clutch and stall the engine
,,Thus restart it and the front diff is turned off anyway via the
computer....And under the centre console thier is a front/rear wheel drive
ajuster so you can run the front at 10% and the rear at 90%.

Ever wounder why the GTR is 4WD???? Because the rear wheel drive only dont
go around corners at speed..

try taking a R32 GTS-T for a drive on a shingle road ,,the old datto 1600
will run circles around them.

I had a R32 GTS-25 coupe ,,I bloody hated it on shingle,,On the shinge roads
to my inlaws farm 80-90 Mph in a 510SSS is no problem but in the R32
anything over 80Kph was scary on shingle.
For a straight line a fully worked GTS-T will blow a GTR ,, but not around
the corners.(thats putting a RB26DETT in the GTST and yes 700Hp is
comen,,900Hp is just about maxed out..)

Rumor is also the GTR has twin turbo because their ant enough room for one
bloody big Turbo..
