As you have been able to fabricate a manifold for you weber carbs, you
should have no trouble grinding out the ports of your A87 head. Just try
initially opening the inlet ports up a bit and match the heads inlet ports
to the manifold, so there is no "lip" to upset the gas flow at the manifold
/head joint.
You can buy ported heads "off the shelf" in Australia, no need to send yours
over for the work to be done, we have thousands of them. The "Datsun
Performance Centre" in Melbourne is one place that will supply good heads
for your vehicle. See their ad on the Ozdat web site. I am sure others
will be able to help you with more places to contact.
