Most noticeable improvement after spending hundreds on the front end of my 1600 over the 2 years are the new idler arm bushes. I'd already replaced new ball joints, radius rod bushes and new lowered springs. Little disagreement with a gutter recently necessitated another visit for wheel alignment and was recommended to replace idler arm bushes - that along with 1.2 caster setting (positive I assume), 0.5 negative camber and .2mm toe-in has a made it fantastic. I wish these idler arm bushes were pointed out to me earlier as it has made it much better when initiating turn-in, more precise, better feedback but I feel little more steering load due to caster I persume.
Is there a bush kit available for 1600 rear sub-frame and arms? Shop is still chasing these. I can recommend Neil @ Revell Steering in Tuggeranong ACT - approachable, honest and reasonable rates. --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.ozdat.com/ozdatonline/listindex.html http://www.mail-archive.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/ ---------------------------------------------------------------------
