On behalf of a friend of mine: current steering box is rather tired and I can't remember what its from but the mechanic reckons there aren't any around to replace it so other options? A quick look at the archives reveal 120y may be the way to go...

I was actually able to order a VRS for a 38mm L18SSS A87V912 many moons ago from the local dealer - haven't seen one listed any place for a long time though - easy fixed if req'd, just punch out the ports to 38mm on the stock gasket and you're in business.
