Hi all, When u swap 240K (C110) sedan struts into a 1600 (510) do u use the 240K steering arms or re-use the 510? The 240K arms are the same length but kick up about 15mm higher on the tie-rod end. Also is it absolutely necessary to swap around the 240K struts left to right so that the brake caliper (single-pot, 270mm disc) is forward of the hubs to stop the caliper hitting stuff? The standard 510 and 240K brakes sit inboard or behind the hubs normally, which makes better sense to me in term of weight distribution. Interestingly, a 1983 280ZX steering arm also kinks up 15mm like the 240K one but is 10mm shorter. I think this would give slightly more turn-in but increase steering effort (less leverage).
