Plus I went to buy a 160J (stanza shape, not 710) a few months ago because on the papers engine was writn in as 1770cc wasnt right,,but puts reason in to rumor at the person at the rego office had just rego'd one and thought 160J 1770cc , car had matching numbers to a L16,,as fitted..
I think it was 1770cc anyway,,
Only nice Nissan race engine I have seen here is a FJ24 thats in a ex rally car from Japan S110 siliva.Very nice and loads of money I think the dude was asking like 75 grand..

These are scarce as RHS - 3 known off in Aus in 1600's, Ballarat was were the one 1600 running used to be, was in Fast 4's many years ago. There's one engine in bits in WA someplace and not for sale and I can't recall where the other one is. There are a couple of Stanzas around with the LZ20B engine and that's about it. I've been after one of these for 25 years and never got one - I gave up and got a factory LZ1889 (170hp single cam) version of the same engine from Japan in circa 1980 and it's still running sweetly.
Regards, Terry
LZ engines are very rare and expensive. There used to be a web site with photos of one fitted in a Datsun 1600 competion car, in Shepparton(?) Victoria.
