hi, a few times i have come across people using castrol  oil, and have had to rebuild  the engine,  nothing to do with the  oil,  just old age, and noticed every time  that they used this type oil there is a thick sludgy deposit  on  the rockers,  pushrods, inside rocker cover etc.... any body  else come across this.  mark k     --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Are you still wasting your time with spam?... Most of them still use good old GTX2 (20w/50) in them as they find the Gen3 oils (and most of them have tried one of them or another) are too thin and you fill up the oil & check the petrol.
