I seem
to recall that ACT is a bit more particular - The Brindabella Car Club qualifies
as a base for most forms of restricted rego. The are a few others in Canberra
but most of these are single make clubs, like old Holdens
etc.

I thought that it had to be CAMS or ASMF, but maybe not ??
I do
know that you need to get a letter from the car club certifying that the car
is over 30 years old.
Vehicle usage is restricted to driving to and from club events,
mechanic & testing.
take
your car for a trip somewhere and your driving
unregistered.

I am actually looking for a sanctioned club so I can get classic
car rego for my datto. It is a stocker and rarely driven. silly to pay
full rego.
