Havent there been some stories on those JC nuts on this list over the years?
Someone told me about putting a long bar on a breaker bar, putting the wheel
back, on lowering the jack and then just roll the car to turn the nut. The
car providing the mass and the lever on the ground to provide the support.
I have never tried it but i always reckoned i might the next time i have to
do one
Iggy i reckon u got out of it lightly and it did probly help to have done
one before.
I really like the sliding hammer approach
Cheers
Mick
