All coupes have the 20mm lower roof line and
slanted rear window (ugly car)
They came in 1600, 1600SSS, 1800 and
1800SSS
I think the 1800 model (H510) was made till about
1971..
NOTE: P510 is a 1600 , H510 is a 1800
P and H are both engine size codes..NOT car type..
K is coupe...
The 2 door Sedan has the same roof line as a 4
door sedan....
If you wanna buy some rare 1600 from Japan,,I'd
be looking for a 1600 510 Bluebird called a "Sports"...Way rarer than a
SSS.Well in NZ anyway..510SSS was sold here as new all JDM made cars. 100% the
same as Japan.
Plus you want one with the very rare spot light
grille and chrome vents on the bonnet..
A Mint 510SSS landed in NZ from Japan is around
$33,000NZ...
510's rust out real bad and they have tons of
snow in Japan..So Beware of the 510's car shops are rebuilding and selling at
auction in Japan

Also, has anyone seen one of these in the flesh? as we do
not think there are any in Australia and maybe possibly never exported out
of Japan, the other coupes are different, the only picture we have found
that shows the vinyl roof and similar shape is a Die Cast model, whereas all
the other pics do not show a lower roofline and vinyl top and do look
slightly different.
The response I am getting from people we
think they are thinking of a P510 or a HP510 (1800's) etc.not
a KP510

Does anyone have any information or knowledge on the
Datsun 1969 Datsun 1600 Bluebird SSS 2dr Coupe???
which was only made for two years from November 1968 to the end of 1969
and was never exported outside Japan unless they were exported
personally.
And also any info about the model that has a lower
roofline and full with tail lights with a vinyl roof (ie. a limited
edition model) ??? a KP510 model
