Let's not start a distro war.... I'm running MS and haven't had issues with the cache. We're running about 70% but that's more to do with our caching scheme and implementation before we implemented memcache than memcached on Windows. And since our service is currently using far more than 64MB, I'm not sure where that number comes from as a limit.
As for reboots, I believe our memcache server was rebooted last weekend for the first time in several months and then only because we were doing a hardware upgrade.
