Sorry, can't promise any timeline for improvements to our client. It's
basically driven by our needs in the company, and the only thing of some
value in the binary protocol for us is multi-set, so perhaps that will drive
us to switch over. The other thing holding us back is the lack of a good
1.4.x windows version of the memcached server, so I wouldn't advise holding
your breath while waiting for it. :-)

Northscale support isn't even on the map for us though, so that will most
likely never happen.
