________________________________ Mendele Personal Notices and Announcements
December 9, 2012 To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests: 1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance. 2. Send material as plain text: no HTML, other coding,or attachments;and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line. 3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames. __________________________________ From: <[email protected]> Subject: Registration open for 28th Annual It is with great joy and happiness that I write to announce the opening of registration for our 28th Annual KlezKamp: The Yiddish Folk Arts Program. With our theme this year "Humor" we embark on a great tour of what was one of the cornerstones of Jewish creativity and survival. Please join us. As usual our theme rich programming is more than matched by numerous classes in Yiddish music, dance, folklore, language and crafts taught by the world's greatest exponents of Yiddish culture. New to us this year is Rabbi Moishe Waldocks co-author of the classic "The Big Book of Jewish Humor" and director Roberta Grossman whose critically acclaimed new film "Hava Nagilah, What Is It?" (which was partially filmed at last year's KlezKamp) will be shown at KlezKamp. Please take a moment to contact our office at [email protected] to order a hard copy of our brochure or, much simpler: just go to our website at http://www.klezkamp.org/docs/index_kk.htm and register online, we await your application and having you join us in the Catskills.
