Feb. 25, 2014 To minimize wear and tear on the untershames, three requests: 1. Send time-sensitive notices well in advance. 2. Send material as plain text to [email protected] as plain text (no HTML, other coding,or attachments and write MENDELE PERSONALS in the subject line. 3. Correspond directly with the person who or organization which has posted the notice, *not* with your ever-beleaguered untershames. *_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Dr. Sheva Zucker* will be offering an intensive Yiddish weekend for advanced-intermediate and advanced Yiddish students. This will be a total immersion experience with one of the foremost Yiddish teachers in America. The weekend will consist of grammar, conversation and readings from Yiddish literature. (The exact curriculum will be decided based on the applicants.) *When: *Friday evening, May 2 through Monday, May 5, 2 P.M. Shorter Friday to Sunday evening option available. Register by March 24. *Where:* Athens, Ohio *Cost:* $275 - Friday to Monday; $225 - Friday to Sunday. Price includes the following meals: Friday night dinner Breakfast: Saturday, Sunday, Monday Bagel Plus lunch: Saturday and Sunday Snack: Monday Some home hospitality is available on a first come first serve basis. Reasonable hotel rates in nearby hotels.
