Maybe I was not very clear. The whole idea of having a "close comitee" design 
is to prevent from a flood of ideas, and try to design something consistant.
Maybe I would have said small comitee, and that I consider that mailing list 
to be quite adequate for that (but not a forum, for example)

I think that the best words are those coming from Carsten:
