I'm generally against using IDEs in dynamic languages like Ruby. You  
don't get the functionality they offer because of nature of the  
language and its flexibility. So... I use macvim (if you use MacOS  
Textmate is also a good choice as it has quite nice functionality from  
using Cocoa (and yeah, no flame wars about editors, please ;))
