I'm a GVIM man when coding in ruby and using merb, have a few added vim scripts too such a VTreeExplorer so I can navigate through project files easier :) Setup to "vim windows" (^Wv for vertical split :)) and have one holding the tree explorer and the other my current file. Just need a few vim scripts for executing merb and the various rake tasks and I'll be sorted :)
