Hey Slices promise to be a bit of a killer feature of merb. (love the "Little slices of MVC cake" line) ::::))))
It's obviously very early days since 1.0 dropped, but I wondered if there were any must have slices out there yet ? A github search for "slice" provides a few very interesting sounding projects - but most seem unfinished.
