No, it's a case of either not reading the documentation closely enough or not being clear in your e-mail. merb-gen *ALWAYS* requires the name of a generator as its first argument. "app" or "model" or any of the other ones listed in the help when you type "merb-gen" without a generator name. If you don't include the generator name, then that's your problem.
