Hi,
After reading various web articles and parts of the draft "Merb in
Action" book I understand that I can use nested resource routes like
this (in router.rb):
resources :pages do
resources :comments
end
resources :documents do
resources :comments
end
That is, I'd like to support access to the resources such as /pages/
123, /pages/123/comments, /pages/123/comments/345 and similarly for /
documents.
In this case page comments and document comments are conceptually
different resources that will need different controllers and different
database models. With this setup though will Merb send comments from
either resource type to the same controller or is there more going
here than I can see?
In practice will I need to specify much more details in the routes to
ensure the right comments routes go to the right controllers or is
this the idiomatic Merb way of doing things?
Any advice much appreciated,
Stu
