YellowPages use Merb + Sequel and seem to be pretty happy about it. Prepared
statements are not always much faster, it really depends on the DB you are
using and how you are using it.

However Sequel is more than likely the fastest Ruby ORM out there.

Regarding DM, a new version is coming up soon, you might want to keep an eye
on it.
