The generated cucumber.rake tasks no longer fail if cucumber is not installed. It'll just provide a nice little message in the task description informing that cucumber isn't currently installed http://github.com/merbjedi/merb_cucumber/blob/master/lib/generators/cucumber/templates/lib/tasks/cucumber.rake
