Hi Joshua, we've released the 1.1.1 intermezzo because people did feel that 1.2 and the dropping the bundler was too bold because it would break every single app. So I've created the 1.1.1 version and release which keeps the behaviour of the 1.1.x branch in terms of the Bundler integration but has all the fixes.
It is a bug that the Merb 1.1.1 doesn't depend on the bundler gem though, which I've fixed in the 1.1.x branch. Could you give it a shot please?
