It's a partial truth. The 9mm has more stopping power, providing you hit a
vital spot. Shoot someone in the shoulder with a 9mm and he's likely to keep
coming. Shoot someone in the shoulder with a 45 and the shoulder & arm's
gone and he's laying on the ground.
