i kind of like the idea of a more open conversation. many do not. i don't think this matter will ever be settled adequately for either side as it has been debated for nearly a decade and is no closer to resolution now than then.

my idea is a community of mercedes enthusiasts that is not just about (nor even necessarily primarily about) mercedes enthusiasm. i am probably in the minority here.

It seems to me that the last two messages on that subject were not even about the subject. Shouldn't someone have changed the subject? And if we count the number of posts on guns do we count the ones complaining about the people talking about guns?

Where is Gabriels MB subject matter like I was taken to task over? You see, we whine about whatever isn't of interest to us. If guns offend you delete, just like I do whenever I see oil, diesel mileage, etc.

Kinder, gentler, warm and fuzzy. That's the new millenium way............ ;-)

Its fixing to be, nobody seems to get the message that the gun topic is
