The length of the cummins will no doubt make the swap incredibly difficult. Even the height might be a problem. To make matters worse, a LA or magnum chrysler v8 is fairly narrow, so v8 diesel swaps might not be an option.
If you're not adept at fabricating, I'd leave the 360.
