We really have no choice with China. They have gotten too large and too
influential. The "dance" we do between Taiwan and China is a necessary
compromise.
All politics is about compromise, no exception.

Taiwan is a "Renegade Province of China" but yet sell them weapons?
If we're selling weapons to Taiwan how can we give China "Most Favored
Nation" trade status?

I guess we should cut off all foreign aid & just let people starve?
Or maybe we should have not offered foreign aide in the first place and

millions of people starve every year?
Sure, shipments get hijacked and food gets misappropriated but enough
gets
through to make a huge difference.
