Dallas was popular in England too.
My wife and I spent our honeymoon in England in 1980.
We visited family friends who owned a beautiful W107.
They referred to it as their "Sue Ellen car."
It had a bumper sticker that read, "Who Shot JR?"

The Dallas contemporary soap called Falcon Crest (I think), also had a few
MBZ's.
The matriarch had a beautiful black W100. Her son, or grandson or whoever
and his wife drove a 123 wagon.
