$2+ more per quart, forces me to stock another oil, not any superior. I've been using conventional car oil for 4 years now and it doesn't seem to hurt anything. I saw a test at one point that said for conventional oils motorcycle oil and car oil were essentially the same. If conventional car oil was fine I don't see synthetic oil hurting anything.

I can't think of any reason to use Turbo Diesel Truck instead. Were you able to get a volume discount at Autozone? I buy almost 30 quarts per year of Turbo Diesel Truck myself (use it in the 190D, and the Volvo Turbo).
