Harry, I have no idea on the make......it looks like a honda engine clone. I bought mine at Grossman's bargain outlet on clearance for $138 with tax and all. It has really been a lifesaver, i can carry it anywhere, it is extremely quiet and starts easily. Set the choke and give it a couple pulls is all it takes. Only complaint i have is that for whatever reason, it wants to be on level ground or setting with the petcock downhill to run right.
