Philip, and others.
Yup! Old Cats (in marine service) had an electric motor to start the two cylinder gas motor to start the main diesel, the pony motor also had a crank handle. Loads of fun on old re-cycled bayou boats in frigid New England! Maintenence? Wutz thayut? Pourquoi? Je n'sai........... and me having no Vietnamese. Oh! Joy unbounded!
