Hmm, I may try that. The bearings I bought for the 190D at Car Quest came with races. I played with them a little and couldn't get 'em out.. I polished them so they were really smooth just in case. Guess that wasn't enough.

If you can get them out, they're replaceable. An old farmer's trick is to arc-weld a bead across the face of the race. When it cools it contracts, reducing the diameter of the race slightly.
