The antenna motor is "smart" -- has a torque sensor to tell it when
the mast is all the say up or all the way down via the amount of
current the motor is pulling. If this circuit board goes bad, it
won't shut off as it's supposed to. Could also be corrosion or
dampness in the antenna motor from a leak at the mast, too, for that
matter.
Not too bad to R&R so long as the mast retracts at least most of the
way.
