If the only thing connected to one battery post is one terminal of the
test lamp, yes, a alternator drain would light the test lamp.


BTW, antenna (on fuse 15) has been unplugged for several days;
unplugging it  killed test lamp with fuse 15 installed and fuse 2
removed.  Test lamp does  not illumin this afternoon with fuse 15
installed, and ant unplugged.

Sounds like the antenna was drawing power, but is no longer, since it's
disconnected. So you have more than one drain.

Does it take longer to run the battery down now that the antenna is
disconnected?
