i've been a fan of Optimas ever since i spent the better part of a day 
scrubbing the spew from a cracked lead-acid battery out of an engine 
compartment,...    ;-*

    i'm on my second one now since my last Optima only lasted 7 years in the 
J**p; that's after having been drained completely flat several times (for a 
variety of bad reasons,) and having spent many days powering the amateur radios 
as a cross-band repeater on the top of a hill somewhere while i provided 
communications for some event.
