'How bout getting another cluster from any 123 in salvage yard and transfer
your speedo, etc., to it?

Having been pulled out reinstalled half a dozen times in 26 years, the
instrument housing on my 1983 300TD has separated from the glass so there
is
an ugly gap at the top. Has anyone ever tried to glue the glass back to
the
plastic frame of the housing? Also, the rubber gasket came off and after
I
reattached it with contact cement I couldn't squeeze the d**ned thing back
into the opening. The only fix was to rip off the gasket. Has anyone
successfully restored one of these?
