Ha! So that rubber strip just sort of sits there, unglued? How did
it fall
into my lap?
Every one I've seen is a big fat rubber band that goes _around_
the cluster. Yours probably got stuck on (welded) to the IC,
and then tore apart in some removal, leaving only a strip still
stuck to it. That finally came loose?
