How's a fast glow plug different, in use?

It gets hotter faster! With the original series plugs, almost half of the heat generated is dissipated in resistance wires OUTSIDE the engine. When the plugs are changed to parallel plugs, all of the heat generated is INSIDE the engine - so there is more heat to ignite the fuel sooner. The fast plugs reach 1000 deg in 10-15 sec while it will take ~30 sec. for loop plugs to reach that temperature.
