So...if these check valves fail, how do I know? If I'm getting oil in the 
vacuum lines is this indicitive of check valve failure? How can oil get into 
the vacuum system unless there is a rip in the diaphram? Every other time the 
diaphram has ripped I've gotten oil in the air cleaner housing and none in the 
vacuum lines. I'm stumped.

when i throw 20 gallons (4 x 5 Gallon carboys)of B100 in the trunk and
fill up the tank, it's noticeably lower in the rear than if i have a
passenger in the back seat. (FWIW, the shocks are fairly new, and springs
seem good.)
   having the weight farther back makes the same weight have more of an
effect on the cars attitude; to the point that if i put the carboys at
the front of the trunk it doesn't make as much of a difference as if i
put them at the back.
