I should get a Rusty price on that... My Indy was quoted $300 from the 
stealership he works with.

Hopefully I'll get a refund from the yard I bought the used one from and I'll 
spring for a new one. Otherwise maybe I'll helicoil the used one.

Wholesale cost for new timing case cover 601 015 0601 is ~$236 according
to 2009-10 price list.  Is farting around with used covers really worth
it?  Dave M., I believe it was, replaced one on a 300D, and I think he
reported that the new case (according to EPC revised 3 times now) has
improved strengthening in the area of the belt tensioner mount to
prevent the problem described below...
