thanks, Mitch.

Someone who HAD a 220D gave me his old valve adjustement wrenches - 14mm.
Will these work on a '76 240D and if so, what else do I need...feeler
guages...are those car specific or do they come in a generic set at an auto
parts store?. I obviously need some numbers that I need to adjust to...want to
do it hot as I know that is the better way to go. Any quidance greatly
appreciated. Is the procedure online anywhere?

  Thanks!

  Chris

If they are too tight, they will definitely make the car run crappy and waste
fuel.
