Jim, all, Thanks for the encouraging words. I haven't checked back since I sent my post. Busy time.
But I'd like to make more clear the reason I would entertain selling the 240. It's most definitely not that I think that we need more room. My wife and I have long scoffed at the notion that folks have to run out and buy a minivan or suv when they have a kid. The reason is that I have shown myself that I don't make time to work on cars. That's why my '68 Coronet is in the care of my brother in AZ. He loves to work on cars. Since the clutch acted up on the 240, it has sat in the garage. Weekends are full of house and yard projects and relaxation. And with the child coming, I figured I may struggle to make time for my beloved Doberman, much less working on a car. Don't worry, my dog will continue to get exercise, love and stimulation. And after getting back on the list, I feel some encouragement to get out there and try to diagnose the 240's problem. Maybe.
