Manfred,

I just dug out the old catalog. I can't see a print date on it, but it
contains a few pages for the W201, so that would probably put it about '84
or so?

The W123 section consists of 4 pages, with pictures of sedan, coupe, and
wagon. They mention an improved brake package, and improved handling, as
well as shock and spring sets. I was trying to find some specs on them, in
hope you could match them up with some other current manufacture.

The rims look very much like a rim Ronial offered, but I'm 90% the AMG rims
were stamped as AMG rims on the backside. Body kits consist of front dam,
sill extensions (quite subtle really, and a rear valence. They also offer
their own differential, as well as their own modified 5 speed gearbox.
Various other interior and trim items.

They have a couple of nice wooden boxes that fit into the space between the
front seats. I know someone was making one for themselves on the list a
couple of years back. I'm thinking about making one for the W124.

To be honest, you may have to wait a bit for me to get that scanner hooked
up. If you like, you can drop me a P.O. Box address off list, and I'd be
happy to photocopy what pictures I have here and mail them off to you. Not
a lot of pictures, but a few to give you an idea of what they did with the
old W123.

I'll have to dig a bit deeper for for those old G&W catalogs.
