That is what I am saying, yes. People also think that they own 1973 280SEL 4.5's. They don't. They may have been titled as a 1973 at some hokey dealer that had left over's on hand when the 116's came out but they were all built in 1972.

I was going to admit he was right, as I also found it said somewhere that production began in September 1972 as a 1973 model. Are you saying I was correct in the first place? 1972 there, 1973 here?
