Thats about how much it is here as well. For the record I bought a 5 gal can of kero at the farm store and it was something like 32.99 or there abouts. I would be real interested in blending in some regular #2 to cut that cost down.

Wow around my parts of the country, propane is $16-$20 for a 25 lb BBQ tank and over $100 for a 100 lb tank. You are getting a DEAL!

It might BLOW ICE COLD if you use veggie oil. I think kero is a bit lighter distillate than diesel? Maybe burns a little cleaner?

I got one of those propane tank heaters at HF a coupla weeks ago, that thing works pretty well. Refill the tank at Tractor Supply with a $3 coupon, it cost me $6 for a fill.

I have a small torpedo heater I use when I am working in the garage that burns kerosene. I crack the garage door open a little bit so I dont get too many fumes or anything and it burns really clean anyway. You can also put diesel in them as well. My question is has anybody burned diesel in one of these. My fear is it will smoke more than kerosene or something. Any thoughts?
