The 1983 300TD with the 1985 transmission is VERY quick although I never
measured the 0 - 60 time. It has a rear axle from the 1983 model year.

The 100 percent 1985 CA version 300TD is a slug because of a vacuum problem
that prevents the turbocharger from doing what it's supposed to do. Will
try to get it sorted out this week.
