During the beginning of the last ice age, all the dinosaurs from the
Eurasian
land mass crossed the land bridge to Australia as the ice advanced, and
finally congregated in great numbers on one coast which caused Australia
to flip.
What you see now is the "bottom" of Australia, which explains why most of
it is barren and inhospitable and why water swirls in the opposite direction
from
the rest of the world.
If for any reason all the Aussies did go to one coast and it flipped back,
Australia
would soon turn into the garden spot of the southern hemisphere just as it
was
eons ago since the top side of Australia would now be up.
If Hendrik got together a large number of earth movers and they hauled tons
of dirt
to one coast, all the Aussies could temporarily come to America and stay at
its
recession plagued empty hotels while one brave Aussie stayed to dump
that one last load of dirt that would make Australia flip again.
Then the Aussies could go back and live in a land of milk and honey forever,
and their water would swirl in the proper direction.
