Oh come on. Just go look at it. Is it that hard to tell someone "Sorry, but I am not interested, have a nice day"? If, by chance, he sees you drive by staring at the car and recognizes you when you do stop in to look at it he may think you are some sort of flake like you are assuming he is. Not a good way to get a good deal, just a reason for him to say buzz off.
