I should have been a bit more specific in my question [you know how imprecise we liberal arts majors can be]. The drains around that sunroof should easily handle all of the water that comes in from the sunroof [I believe all of them leak]. With the torque on the body while driving I don't think it is possible to not have some water come in. The car was sitting in a lot during the time in question, not being driven, though the lot was far from flat and level. My question was about the amount of water that should find a way into the drains for the sunroof, because they will likely suggest that the drains were plugged. My experience of that in years long past is that the water trapped if the drains are plugged - in my case from driving during sleet while living in Indiana - is that the excess water hit me square in the back of the neck [at about 33 degrees] when I was stopping. I just don't know enough about the physics of water handling in the 140 sunroof, though there had never been a leak before. Bill R
