I'm thinking of buying one of the jump start "hot packs" that rescued me yesterday. I see several on eBay of various capacities. There is one that ends in under an hour with reasonable shipping costs and a low current bid. But it is only 300 amps cold cranking amps and 700 peak amps. Is that enough power for a Benz diesel? I think our batteries (240D) is about 875 amps or something like that.
